The Modern Bakery Music

Bassist/Producer David Ybarra’s playing style has often been described as Keen to the Pop Junkie, Rocks like nobody’s business and with the right volume, can mix a yard of concrete with The Funk. This native San Diegan has provided his low end for artists like Carlos Olmeda, Mary Dolan, The Wild Truth, The Playground Slap and 44 Double D. Feeling the need to share his juju, Ybarra created The Modern Bakery Music in early 2004 to help others find their musical satori. The Modern Bakery Music has created music for short films, websites, solo artists and has found a skill in collaboration with many San Diego songwriters and has been noted for having “The Most Creative Band that Never Existed”
