I had a WWII Veteran listen to this song and he said, "You wouldn't believe how many nickels I put into the jukebox to hear THIS song! I like what you've done, your version of this song!"
The distorted guitar symbolizes the battles fought, the strings in the background her thoughts of him, the piano is life going on. She and I singing together: Fulfillment of their mutual desires-hopes-longings! XOXOXO!!!
I like the arrangement of this song. Sounds good! Powerful audio imagery. (is there such a thing?)(there should be!)How about powerful audio interpretation, strong AND gentle guitar, wistful strings, eloquent piano, and great vocals too!

Are you reviewing and rating your own music? How else would it get rated so high?

I cannot believe that this song is at this position on the charts again, it must be the performers rating their own music under other log-ins. The distorted guitar (keyboard) sounds like something that I would hear at a lumber mill. Keyboard drums are terrible sounding and the vocals are even worse...way off key with terrible phrasing (squeezing too many syllables together) and harmonies out of time with each other. This is some of the worst music I have ever heard. I can't believe that anyone would listen to this and say that it is good music.

Actually, I used a ukelele, AND accordian, rythm was empty large coffee cans, and spoons! Thank-you for your attention!
Face it. This is the future of music. Give Shakira, Lady Gaga, and all the rest of the brainless idiots a few more years and this is what you will be giving five stars. I'm just ahead of the curve. Kudos to Andrew Mary Hicks for is post-apocalyptic vision of American music. You are not not what American popular music should be, you are what American popular music IS and I salute you for it. Carry on.
I agree with goodcook, this is horrible. If this is the future of music it will BRING the apocalypse. If you're going to use coffee cans and spoons as instruments, learn to play them at least.
Gotta agree with cook and hailey, this is bad.
I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one shaking his head on a daily basis about this music. At first I thought they were really terrible sounding keyboard drums...ok I was wrong. But yeah, play them in time and take the freaking reverb off of them.

I have never heard more off key vocals in my entire life. This is absolutely awful. Who would vote this garbage onto this list?
That would be Andrew......obviously!
