Sounds like a good clean rap with heart and soul. A typical persons strugle in the real world trying to do right by his kid. Great job on the lyric a beat. I would like to hear more like this from you. Get to writing!

I dig the message but I'm a Tin Pan Alley kind of guy. Not into rap or hip-hop. I gotta have melody.

Rap is not my bag. The lyrics are great, but to qualify as a song, there should be a tune involved. Rap and hip-hop would more aptly be labeled as: poetry with a beat. Sort of like the kind of thing the "Beatniks" of old used to produce.
