I thought I had it all...a great career, a busy and successful life as a Marketing Director but I found myself sitting in my downtown Seattle Office wishing I could devote my energy, effort and perfectionist tendencies to my first love: music, singing and songwriting. I was tired of being a cog in the corporate hamster wheel. I wrote this song as a reflection of what it means to be done with Corporate America, to leave it and pursue one's dreams. Although some of us run from it and remove ourselves from it, are we ever fully able to escape it's influential tentacles??
