Last year some women said, "I am Sarah Palin" to which I responded, "I was Bristol Palin"... I wrote this song after coming out of the dark & confused place it portrays. I need to make clear that I am eternally grateful for the presence of my (now quite grown) son in my life and ever so proud of him for surviving *me* as a mother (eek!). But when you're 22 and confused, this is how it sometimes feels...

Such a range of feeling through the music as well as the words. The artist has such control to go to the softer yet true pitch that helps bring out the feelings of the heart! Way to go Lynn!!
