This World Just Breaks My Heart

This is just a simple song I felt compelled to write after the shooting that happened here in Tucson. I remember feeling that there was so much uneeded anger and finger pointing. We weren't angry so much at the guy who pulled the trigger but at each other, both partied blaming the other for having caused this to even happen. It filled me with a great feeling of despair, wondering iff we'd ever learn. This song should not be seen as an attack on either political party but merely an invitation to stop and reflect. To quiet the noise a little and to ask ourselves, what WE can do to bring about peaceful change in our country.
