Strength would be you telling us what the hell this song is supposed to be about and singing loud enough for everyone to hear. I'm lost on why this is even on the chart. Even though you done better songs I say don't give up your day job.

Lighten up JamesDean. Use your real name if your going to dog people's songs. I understood every word of it so maybe your hearing aid battery is running down.

Clearly tastes vary; I think this is *yet another* wonderful Perry Nunley song. The situations and experiences that inspire a song can be pretty oblique but this seems pretty clear to me: Perry knows people (and has probably "been people") in the condition described in the song: less work, less money, cut in pay, yet there's gotta be some gratitude for any job, any money - and how does a man make that right with his wife? How does a man address his wife's fear when he's feeling fear himself? Or maybe I'm just up a tree-- Good work, Perry!

A new song! I like it! I know how it is to be struggling these days but I haven't been laid off yet. Some of my long time coworkers were laid off in January and now they're talking about cutting us back to 4 days a week or possibly 6 hours a day. We don't eat out any more and lol, spam is on the menu alot! The part about the soldier family really got to me for very personal reasons. I hope you get this song recorded by someone very very soon. PS. I'm in Denver! Do you play live anywhere?

You got it goin' on with them vocals, Perry. There's strength, humility, compasion and, most importantly, genuine believability.

Country is not really my thing but I can feel a good song.. This is a heart felt effort. The best thing about a really good song is when it speaks to you about what is happening in your world.. Just like a good preacher can do... Right on.. Jamerica (artist name)
